Ann Marie Lucht 82, of Springfield, died at 5:13 pm, Monday, January 19, 2026, at Mill Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center. She was born August 6, 1943, in Springfield, to Joseph Lee and Florence Irene Robinson Gutmann. She married Gerald Lucht on April 1, 1988, and he survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael (Melana) Wright of Copperas Cove, TX and David (Brandie) Wright of Pawnee; five grandchildren, Robert Gilkeson, Cory Gilkeson, Ryan (Melani) Gilkeson, Alec (Ilisa) Bruckenbush and Elizabeth Wright; five great grandchildren, one brother Donald Gutmann of Olympia, WA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Mary Lou Montalbano, Carol Nolker, Nancy Gutmann, John Gutmann, James Gutmann, Jerry Gutmann and Charles Gutmann.
Ann was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Stephen Ministry.
She worked as an administrative Assistant for Freeman Coal Mining.
She enjoyed quilting and reading, but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation: 10 am – 12 pm, Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.
Funeral Service: 12 pm, Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Staab Funeral Home with Pastor Linda Strader officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Petersburg.
