Beulah Claire Koehler, 89, of Springfield, IL, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Beulah was born on August 17, 1935, in Wakefield, MI, to Henry Joseph and Mary Angeline (Terrien) Londo. She married Emery Robert Koehler on November 14, 1953, and he preceded her in death on January 23, 1998.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lynne (Joe Sr.) Stengel of Springfield and Carolyn Koehler of Riverton; son-in-law, Brian Cowgur of Rumford, RI; four grandchildren, Joe (Lynne) Stengel Jr. of Boss, MO, Michael (Andrea) Stengel of Orland Park, Jared (Rachel) Cowgur of Rumford, RI, and April Cowgur (Chance Raspberry) of Burbank, CA; nine great-grandchildren, Caroline, Corban and Cruz Cowgur, Justin (Savannah) Angel, Jacob (Katherine), Josh, and Jimmy Stengel; three great-great-grandchildren, Ashton, Addie Jo, and Theodore; one sister, Jeanine DeNeve of Grand Rapids, MI; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers and three sisters.

Beulah was a faithful member of the Church of the Little Flower. Beulah retired as an accountant for the Illinois Department of Public Health after 26 years of service.

Memorial Gathering: 10:00 am – 11:30 am, Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the Church of the Little Flower.

Memorial Mass: 11:30 am, Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the Church of the Little Flower with the Very Reverend Brian C. Alford officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the BridgePointe Christian Church c/o Jared Cowgur or to the Dominican Sisters of Springfield.
