Conny L. Horn, 74, of Springfield, passed away at 1:07 pm, Friday, June 27, 2025, at her home. She was born June 23, 1951, in Pekin, IL, the daughter of Robert and Joy (Newbrough) Horn. She married Richard “Tuba” Young September 1, 2007, and he preceded her in death May 12, 2015.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nancy Dayringer.
She is survived by a sister, Jean Stark of Shiloh, IL; brother-in-law, Steve Dayringer of Maryland Heights, MO; stepson, Jeremy Young of Springfield; three nieces, Nacedah (Josh) Hancock, Evelyn (Jonathan) Wulf, and Beth Stark; nephew, Robert (Amanda) Stark and three great nephews.
Conny retired from the State of Illinois Department of Revenue.
The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
