Donna M. Freeman, 91, of New Berlin, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Jacksonville Skilled Nursing & Rehab. She was born on December 18, 1934, in Atwood, Illinois, the daughter of Bert and Grace (Utterback) Foster. She married Arthur E. Freeman in 1959 and he preceded her in death on August 9, 2004.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Foster; and two sisters, Betty Williams and Carol Harrell.
Donna enjoyed the simple things in life, especially when they came with a little fun and a lot of laughter. She loved playing Yahtzee and bingo and was always up for a little gambling, whether trying her luck with a scratch-off ticket or having a go at the slot machines. She especially treasured the time she spent babysitting her nieces and nephews, where a bowl of popcorn and an old black-and-white scary movie made for the perfect evening. Donna loved to laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor, always believing life was a little better when you could have some fun along the way.
Per Donna's wishes, a private family hosted graveside service will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
