Doris J. Ippolito 98, of Riverton, passed away at 5:13 am, Tuesday, June 16, 2026, peacefully in her sleep at her home. She was born on September 5, 1927, in Springfield to Armond and Mary Butkus Ferrari. She married William D. Ippolito in 1946 and he preceded her in death on November 6, 2010.
Survivors include one son William Ippolito of Riverton and her beloved cat, Molly.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Doris was a member of St. James Church in Riverton. She proudly owned Doris’ Ceramic Cellar for over 56 years and enjoyed her Tuesday night “get-togethers”.
Graveside Service: 2:00 pm, Monday, June 22, 2026, at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Father Thaddeus Adukus officiating.
