Elizabeth J. Krumme, 85, of Springfield, IL, passed away on November 7, 2025. She was born on June 8, 1940, to Albert Stanton and Lucy Odessa (Hasty) Johnson. She married Roger Krumme June 16, 1963, and he survives.

 She is also survived by her sons, Jerry (Melissa) Krumme of Mechanicsburg, IL and Christopher (Julie) Krumme of Plano, IL; eight grandchildren, Jonathan (fiancé, Stephanie) , Kelsey, Kyle (fiancé, Kara), Michael (Sammy), Josh (Brittany), Alison (Tyler), Rosa (Nick), and Emily (Adrian); great-grandchildren, Carter, Camy, Brooke, Rowan, Lucy, Vincent, Theo, Maiya, and one on the way; sister, Jane Johnson (Robert) Callaway; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Helen Rizzo.

 Elizabeth received her bachelor’s degree and became a bookkeeper.

 She enjoyed going to church at Mechanicsburg Christian Church. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially playing card games such as pinochle, bridge, and poker.

 Memorial Gathering: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Mechanicsburg Christian Church.

 Memorial Service: 5:00 pm, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Mechanicsburg Christian Church with Reverend Gretchen Barron officiating.

 Memorial contributions may be made to Mechanicsburg Christian Church.
