Hylia Ann Graham, 76, of Springfield, IL, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Reflection Memory Care. She was born on March 23, 1948, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Lester W. and Berniece O. (Nichols) Gibbs. She married Anthony Graham on March 23, 1998.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony; daughter, Tara (David) Ann Matheson of Springfield; stepchildren: Andrew Graham of California, Jamie McNeese of Pensacola, FL, Dannelle Graham of California, and Christina Graham of California; seven step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Hylia was a woman of faith and a member of West Side Christian Church. She enjoyed TNT Sunday School Class and the Senior Choir at West Side.

In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe and on cruises. She was also a member of the Cachet Club.

Hylia dedicated 23 years to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency, where she was an Emergency Response Instructor before she retired.

Visitation: 11 am – 12 pm, Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Service: 12:00 pm, Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Pastor Mike Harney officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
