Jacob A. Quick, 29, of Buffalo, IL, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born on February 16, 1996, in Springfield, IL to Randy E. and Valerie R. Jacques Quick.

Survivors include his father, Randy E. Quick of Buffalo; brother, Christopher Quick of Buffalo; sister, Amanda (Rich) Cooley of Springfield; grandmother, Virginia Pitchford of Springfield; one aunt, Cindy (Jerry) Ealey of Edinburg; two nieces, Madison and Abigail; two nephews, Carson and Morgan; his beloved golden-retriever, Celine; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Valerie R. Quick; and grandparents, Lowell “Bud” and Phyllis Quick.

Jacob worked for several years for Cartier Jewelry in Phoenix, AZ. He truly enjoyed working in the high-end jewelry business and it allowed him to travel all over the country and world, such as Wyoming, New York, Greece and Cancun. He later became a logistics truck driver and owned and operated his truck for McIntosh Trucking in Missouri for a couple of years.

He was a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoying his Harley Davidsons throughout Central IL and was big fan of Barret-Jackson Auction Co.

Visitation: 4:00 – 6:00 pm, Friday, May 23, 2025 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Graveside Service: 11:00 am, Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Lake Fork Cemetery in Atwood, IL.
