Jacquelyn “Jackie” A. Braham, 75, of Springfield, IL, passed away on June 10, 2025 at Villa Healthcare – East in Sherman. Jackie was born on December 17, 1949, to William and Rosemary (Watson) Clardy.

 She is survived by her daughter, Gail (Kyle) Waddell of Athens, IL; three grandchildren, Eleanor, Victoria, and Joliene Waddell; three sisters, Kay Robinson, Donna (Jerry) Jallas, both of Springfield, and Nancy (Ken) Rachelle of Chatham; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Bradley Braham; and brothers, Howard Clardy and Kenny Clardy.

 Jackie graduated from Southeast High School and went on to receive her CNA license. Jackie had a compassionate nature and used her gift to be a caregiver to many family members and other patients across Central IL.

 She was a faithful member of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church. Jackie’s favorite thing to do was spending time with her family, especially time with her granddaughters at their ballet recitals. She also enjoyed reading mystery novels by James Patterson and others in her spare time.

 Cremation will be arranged by Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

 A Celebration of Life will be hosted by the family at 11 am, Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Delta Church, 1220 Outer Park Drive, Springfield, IL 62704.

A lunch will be provided following the service.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Springfield Youth Performance Group.
