Jane Ann Delano Foran, 89, a lifelong resident of Springfield, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, at St. John’s Hospital. She was born on February 18, 1937, in Springfield, the daughter of Dr. Charles H. and Nell Curren Delano. She married Warren C. Foran in 1969 and he preceded her in death on July 7, 2011.

Jane is survived by a sister in-law, Barbara Delano of Springfield; three nieces, Sarah Delano Pavlik (Tom), Cathleen Sweeten (Patrick), and Ann Bunnell (Keith); three nephews, Charles H. (“Chip”) Delano IV, John Delano (Lisa), and Kevin Delano (Annie); 16 great nieces and nephews, Fr. Charles, Mary (Eric Kwitkowski), Tim, and Julia Delano, Mike, Grace (fiancé Jacob Allen), and Chris Sweeten, Gabrielle and Danielle Delano, Nicholas, Mark, and Noah Bunnell, and Caroline, Lauren, Rachel, and Adam Delano.

In addition to her husband Warren, Jane was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles H. (“Chick”) Delano III.

Jane was a lifelong parishioner and graduate of Blessed Sacrament and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy.

She was an avid golf and tennis player and won several Women’s Golf Championships at Illini Country Club. In 1958 she was crowned Queen of the Beaux Arts Ball. She will be remembered for her love of dachshunds.

Memorial Mass: 10:00 am, Friday, July 24, 2026, at Blessed Sacrament Parish with Fr. Charles W. Delano officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament School.
