Joyce E. Williams, 77, of Pleasant Plains, IL, passed away on December 21, 2025. Joyce was born on October 15, 1948, in Springfield, IL, to the late Glenn and Marylois (Clark) Heirman. Joyce married the love of her life, Michael “Mike” W. Williams on February 9, 1969, and he survives.
She is also survived by her three sons, Lewis Williams of Springfield, IL, Douglas (Amy) Williams of Fairbanks, AK, and James Edward “Eddie” Williams of Decatur, IL; four grandchildren, Brianna Williams, Nathan Williams, Rebecca Williams, and Sabrina Williams; sister, Carol (Ray) Lloyd of Chatham, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
Joyce began her career as an LPN. Her and her husband owned Mike Williams Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning.
Her passion was caring and serving her family. She treasured her time with her children, grandchildren, and husband. Joyce was a dedicated member of Southern View Chapel.
Visitation: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Friday, December 26, 2025, at Southern View Chapel.
Funeral Service: 12:00 pm, December 26, 2025, at Southern View Chapel with Pastor Gary Gilley & Bishop Howard Colllier officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Southern View Chapel or to New Berlin - Island Grove Firefighters & EMS Squad.
