Judith "Judy" M. Connor, 83, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the Villas of Holly Brook in Chatham. She was born on June 5, 1943, in Springfield, the daughter of Alice Roth. She married David M. Connor, Jr. on May 29, 2004 and he preceded her in death on March 17, 2016.

Survivors include her three children, Theresa (Ron) Ess of Taylorville, Charles "Chuck" (Shelia) Connor of Springfield and Jackie (Ron) Lindsay of Athens; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Judy worked as a tax specialist for the Illinois Department of Revenue where she dedicated many years of service until her retirement in 2001.

Visitation: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, Friday, August 21, 2026, at Staab Funeral Home - Springfield.

Funeral Service: 12:00 pm, Friday, August 21, 2026 at Staab Funeral Home - Springfield. A burial will follow at Joe Brunk Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 32, 1120 East Sangamon Avenue, Springfield, Illinois, 62702.
