Karren Olive Sachse, 81 of Springfield, passed away at 5:17 am, Friday, April 25, 2025, at The Grove and Health Rehab Center in Jacksonville. She was born on February 18, 1944 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Hilmar Eugene and Florence Irene (Forgue) Sachse.
She is survived by her sister, Nancy Irene Smith of CA; one niece, Tina (Oscar) Mendoza of CA; four nephews, Jason Banas of FL, Jim Banas of CA, Jeff (Lorraine) Banas of CA, and Eric (Daisy) Banas of CA.
Karren received her bachelor’s degree from Carroll University in Sociology and Psychology. She retired from the State of Illinois, Department of Human Services as a Regional Representative.
Per Karren’s wishes, cremation rites are being accorded, and services may take place at a later date.
