Kelly R. DeSalle, 54, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at her home. She was born December 14, 1970, in Springfield, the daughter of Robert and Barbara (Rethinger) Martin. She married Matthew DeSalle on November 9, 1996, and he survives.

Also surviving are four children, Elizabeth, Samuel, William, and Ava DeSalle, all of Springfield; mother, Barbara Martin of Springfield; step-mother, Ann Martin of Springfield; four siblings, Mark (Patti) Martin, Kevin (Jennifer) Martin, Michelle (Richard) Jasmon, and Greg (Nicki) Martin, all of Springfield; four brothers and sisters in law, Robert (Erin) DeSalle of New York, Mary (Bill) Moore of Salt Lake City, UT, Lynn (John) Eck of Springfield, and Daniel (Kathy) DeSalle of Springfield; two aunts, Kathy Gilman of Greer, SC and Mary Fran Clark of Biloxi, MS; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father; in-laws, Robert and Linda DeSalle; brother-in-law, Rollin DeSalle; great aunt, Kate Reed and grandparents.

Kelly graduated from Sacred Heart-Griffin High School, class of 1989, and went on to receive her associates degree from Springfield College. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She worked as a teacher’s aide for Christ the King School for four years and previously had worked for Blessed Sacrament School, but her whole world revolved around being a mom and spending time with her family.

Memorial Gathering: 10 am – 1 pm, Friday, June 27, 2025, at Blessed Sacrament Church.

Memorial Mass: 1 pm, Friday, June 27, 2025, at Blessed Sacrament Church with Reverend Jeff Grant officiating.
