Lillian A. Reilly passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, in Decatur, IL two days shy of her 103 birthday.
Born February 25, 1922, in Springfield, IL, daughter of John Geo and Rose Otto. Lillian married Jerome F. Reilly on February 25, 1942. They were the parents of Patricia Reilly and JoAnn Gossett, both deceased, Rita Ham of Decatur, IL, and John Reilly of Riverside, IL.
Lillian was a 1939 graduate of Ursuline Academy and worked 27 years as a secretary at Pitney Bowes. She was a member of Little Flower Parish Church since its dedication. She was a member of the Delta Theta Tau sorority, holding numerous offices over the years and attending annual conventions. She enjoyed travelling and reading, and was a Chicago Cubs fan.
She is survived by her two children, Rita and John; son in law, Mickey Gossett; daughter in law, Jane Wilhelm; grandchildren: Kimberly Perego, Karen Doerr, Daniel Ham, Adam Ham, Matthew Ham, Carrie Reilly, and James Reilly; great grandchildren, Reilly Doerr, Taylor Doerr, David “Dax” Perego Jr., Charles Ham, and Joseph Ham.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerome; daughters, Pat and Jo; parents, John and Rose; brother, John “Jack” Otto; sister, Carolyn Otto; son in law, Rick Ham; two infant grandsons; and one infant granddaughter.
Visitation: 9 - 10 am Friday, February 28, 2025, at Church of the Little Flower.
Funeral Mass: 10 am Friday, February 28, 2025, at Church of the Little Flower with Reverend Zach Samples officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Breakthrough T1D for diabetes research.
