Linda Sue Bracco, 89, of Springfield, died at 7:53 am, Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Concordia Village. She was born on July 4, 1936, in Peoria, IL, to Jess and Pearl (Thompson) Steward. She married Frank Bracco, and he preceded her in death on March 2, 2002.

Survivors include four children, Susan Bracco, Timothy Bracco, John (Kendra) Bracco, and Lisa Bracco (Fiancé Duane Grant), all of Springfield; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Ellora Smith.

Linda was a member of Christ the King Church. She worked as a supervisor in the engineering division for Illinois Bell Telephone Company, retiring after thirty-six years.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was a part of the Baby Bells during her time at Illinois Bell.

Memorial Gathering: 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Christ the King Church.

Memorial Mass: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Christ the King Church with Rev. Mark Tracy officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Concordia Village Benevolent Fund.
