Lloyd Keith Finfrock, 87, of Rochester, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025. He was born on October 22, 1937, in Danville, IL, the son of Marion Finfrock, and she preceded him in death. He married the love of his life, Colleen Coady, on March 5, 1976.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Colleen Finfrock (Coady) of Rochester; six children, Janet DeRosa (Terry Plowman) of Heyworth, Sherri Akers of Springfield, Patti Chrisman (Randy) of Springfield, Jeff Finfrock (Karen Albert) of Springfield, Michael Finfrock (Kristin) of Springfield, and Christi Merriss (Justin) of Plainfield; nine grandchildren, Kendra, Christopher, Anthony, Joshua, Callie, David, Mya, Olivia, and Hailey; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Lloyd was a resident of Rochester since 1977 where he owned and operated Finfrock Backhoe Services. He became good friends with many of his customers over the years. Lloyd loved eating donuts with his buddies at Mel-O-Cream, going to auctions and buying stuff he needed. He loved corvettes and cars in general, as well as Harley Davidson motorcycles. Back in the day, he was known for rebuilding some Harleys in the middle of the living room. Lord help any car salesman he came in contact with because they were usually losing money before he was done.

Funeral Service: 2 pm, Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield. A burial will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
