Luke P. Beane, 29, of St. Louis, MO, passed away on November 15, 2024. Born in Springfield, IL, on December 19, 1994, Luke’s life was a canvas of warmth, creativity, and adventure that touched the hearts of everyone around him.
Luke was a graduate of St. Agnes Grade School and graduated from Springfield High School in 2013. He was a dedicated and a passionate employee at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, MO, where he began working in 2020. His love for the St. Louis Cardinals was as vast as the office views in the ballpark. During the off time at his favorite job in the stadium, Luke brought joy and impeccable service to the patrons at Rich & Charlie's Italian Restaurant in St. Louis.
Luke was known for his creativeness and was an amazing artist, well-known in the St. Louis art scene. Luke’s vibrant blue eyes and heartwarming smile were a reflection of the beauty and passion that he poured into his artistry. As a staunch supporter of the St. Louis Blues, Luke’s enthusiasm for the team was only rivaled by his love for his family, who were the cornerstone of his world.
Family was everything to Luke. He is survived by his father, Joseph P. Beane of Litchfield, IL; his parents, Vivian and Miles Anderson, of Springfield. His bond with his sisters, Libby (Carrick) Younkin and Sophie Anderson, both of Springfield, was unbreakable, and his adoration for his nephew, Miles Younkin, knew no bounds. He leaves behind his cherished grandparents, Guss Wardle, Michael & Elizabeth Anderson, and Patricia Halberstadt. Luke also held a deep connection with his aunts, Tanya Heller, Angela (Patrick) Ryan, and Paetra Yates, as well as his Uncle Ryan (Kathy) Samuelson. He also leaves behind many cousins and other beloved family and friends.
Luke is preceded in death by his grandparents James & Margaret Beane; Great Granny Madelyn Rogers; Uncle Floyd Heller; Aunts Jody and Rhonda Beane; his cousin, Matthew Jones; and step-grandpa, Thomas Halberstadt.
Luke’s life was a reflection of his proud Native American heritage. A frequent participant in pow wows, he found great pride and joy in his culture. His adventurous spirit led him to many trips to Disney Land, days of tubing with Grandpa Mike on Lake Petersburg, concerts, and bike rides through nature. Luke spent countless hours sharing laughter and games with his family, and he could always be counted on to bring the best smiles to his mother's homecooked feasts.
Luke P. Beane’s journey on this earth may have reached its sunset, but the warmth of his sunrise will continue to awake each day in the hearts of all who loved him.
