Marie M. Andrews, 91, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at her home. She was born on February 18, 1935, in Springfield, the daughter of Russell and Ruth (Cruthis) Weller. She married Howard Andrews on October 20, 1978.

 She is survived by her husband, Howard; three daughters, Bonnie (Mark) Chandler of Chatham, Misty (Tom) Matykiewicz and Paula (Robert) Gonterman, both of Springfield; six grandchildren, Heather Ayers, Sara Rolando, Clayton (Rebekah) Whitmore, Dalton Whitmore, Richard (Brooke) Ramsey, and Rachel Ramsey; seven great-grandchildren, Maggie, Mollie, Benjamin, Isaac, Stevie, Callie, and Oliver; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; three brothers; daughter, Edana Funk; son, Edward “Eddie” Ramsey; and grandson, Jesse Levendoski.

 Marie was a member of Springfield Bible Church. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling. She was a member of Federated Jr. Women’s Club, and she also was very fond of animals. Marie worked as an accountant for the City of Springfield.

 Visitation: 12:00 – 1:00 pm, Friday, March 20, 2026, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

 Funeral Service: 1:00 pm, Friday, March 20, 2026, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield, with Pastor John Standard officiating. A burial will follow at Chatham Community Cemetery.

 Memorial contributions may be made to Springfield Bible Church or Animal Protective League.
