Marilyn Anne Baughman 62, of Chatham, died at 2:55 pm, Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Elevate Care in Waukegan. She was born April 16, 1962 in Springfield, the daughter of Charles “Bud” and Rosalie (Hurst) Pierson. She married Robert D. Baughman III on August 21, 1983 and he preceded her in death on June 28, 2021.
Her parents and one brother, David Pierson also preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Nicole Baughman (Zach Garfield) of Springfield; two sons, Josh (Crystal) Baughman of Chatham and Chris (Nicole) Lancaster of TN; one sister, Laurie (Ralph) Lowery of Springfield; one brother, Chris Pierson of Rochester; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Marilyn was a 1980 graduate of Glenwood High School. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for thirty-five years.
She was a beloved mom and grandmother.
The family will host a Celebration of Marilyn’s Life from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Aqua Sports Club, 1 Club Area Lane, Springfield.
