Mary Etta Loscher passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on October 31, 1940, in Hillsboro, Illinois, to Frank A. and Mary Frances (Clark) Roth. She married John J. Loscher and he preceded her in death on August 21, 2016.

She is survived by her daughters, Leah (Brad) McAllister of Springfield and Christina Ring of Chicago; sons, John Loscher and Bradley (Diane) Loscher, both of Springfield; grandchildren: Michael Loscher, Katie Loscher, Matthew Loscher, Adam McAllister, Andy McAllister, Alec McAllister, Sophia Ring, and Helena Ring and brother, Don Roth of Gulf Shores, AL.

Mary Etta was a dedicated nurse at St. John’s Hospital for over 40 years. She was a member of Christ the King Church. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation: 9-10:30 am, Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Mass: 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Christ the King Church with Reverend Christopher House officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
