Norma Kay Little, 79, of Herndon, VA, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at her home. She was born on December 30, 1945, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of William and Martha (Ciesler) Ananias.
Norma is survived by her sons, Larry Little of Chicago and Alexander Little of Herndon, VA; two grandchildren, Ava and Jack Little; and brother, Jim Ananias.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Nancy Buckle and Jeannie Ananias.
Norma loved to spend free time sewing, quilting, and painting. She was a graduate of St. John’s School of Nursing. She later received her Master of Science in Healthcare Service Administration from the College of St. Francis leading to her career as a professor in Healthcare Administration.
Memorial Service: 10:00 am, Friday April 10, 2026, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield, with Cindy Lash officiating. A burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
