Patricia A. Jones, 82, of Springfield, passed away at 2:50 am, Friday, May 22, 2026, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital. She was born on December 20, 1943, in Springfield, IL the daughter of Rowland and Gertrude (Senger) Roth.
She is survived by her daughter, Annette Marie (Travis) Mathews of Chandlerville, IL; three grandchildren, Nick and Baird and Jeff Jones, Jr.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeffrey J. Jones and longtime companion, George Nicks.
She was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish at Sacred Heart Church.
A private service and burial at Calvary Cemetery will be held at a later date.
