Robert “Bob” Lehnen, 78, of Greenview, IL passed away at 10:51 pm, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. He was born July 17, 1947, in Springfield, the son of Robert M. and Laverne (Santarelli) Lehnen. He married Marilyn L. Goldesberry on March 1, 1979, and she survives.

 He is also survived by a son, Jeremy Lehnen of Springfield; two grandchildren, Joseph and Emma Lehnen; two sisters, Linda (James) Mendenhall of Springfield and Lois Adams of Petersburg and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Richard Lehnen.

 Bob was a graduate of Lanphier High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. Bob was a resident of Greenview for 15 years and previously lived in Springfield. He retired in 2004 from Boss Manufacturing Company as a manager after 30 years of service.

 He was a member of St. Joseph Church. Bob enjoyed playing pool and Billiards and loved to ride his motorcycle.

 Visitation: 9-11 am, Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

 Funeral Service: 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Rev. Alex McCullough officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
