Rosa Ann Stanley 90, of Dawson died at 12:56 am, Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born May 11, 1935, the youngest of nine siblings, to Charles “Ed” and Ida Lennon Hundley. She married Russell Allen Stanley on November 4, 1952, and he preceded her in death on September 10, 2000.

 Survivors include her four children Sharon Stanley of Springfield, Deborah Stanley of Mechanicsburg, Rebekah “Becky” (Kirk) Staats of Sherman and Timothy (Tina) Stanley of Trafalgar, IN; eleven grandchildren, Aaron and Louis (Katy) Nightingale, Jeremy (Cindy) and Rachael Roach, Jacob (Liz), Nathan (Erin), Joseph and Mitchell Staats, Zachary (Rachel), Sarah, and Anna Stanley; four great-grandchildren, Anwyn Nightingale, Levi, Caleb and Isaac Stanley and one brother, Henry Hundley.

 Rosa was a long-time member of Riverton Christian Church in Riverton, as well as Fit Club where she enjoyed water aerobics.

 After graduating from Noble Community High School in Noble, Illinois, she worked as an Executive Secretary at Amedco and after retiring she worked retail at Big R until the age of 83.

 Visitation: 12 – 2 pm, Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

 Funeral Service: 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Pastor Brian Atwell officiating. Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.

 Memorial contributions may be made to Riverton Christian Church.
