Sandra “Sandi” Bahlow, 76, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Sunny Acres in Petersburg. She was born March 19, 1949, in Springfield, the daughter of Frank and Velma (Sorenson) Herr. She married Randy Bahlow on April 6, 1973, and he preceded her in death on March 17, 2015.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and son, Brian Bahlow.
She is survived by two brothers, Randy (Kathy) Herr and Greg (Roxanne) Herr, both of Springfield; three nieces, Jennifer (Chad) Hughes of Athens, Jessica (Beau) Friday of Sherman, and Amber (Ken) Boyle of Springfield; and nephew, Jake (Jill) Herr of Springfield.
Sandi enjoyed horseback riding and competitions. She also loved camping at Otter Lake and hosting holidays.
She worked for the State of Illinois, retiring after many years of service.
Per Sandi’s wishes, private family services will be held.
