Miss Sharon Elaine Park, 78, of Taylorville, IL, passed away into her Savior’s arms, on October 30, 2025. She was born on January 9, 1947, in Springfield, IL, to Robert W. Park, Sr. and Madeline Gaziano Park, and they preceded her in death.

 She is also preceded in death by her sister, Sunshine Elaine Arnold.

 Sharon is survived by her sister, Dorothy (Steven) Flatt of Springfield, IL; brothers, James (Linda) Park of Mechanicsburg, IL and Robert (Patricia) Park, Jr. of Rochester, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

 Sharon was a resident of Springfield and Taylorville for most of her life. She was baptized and of the Catholic Faith.

 Sharon attended Little Red School House and worked at Goodwill Industries for 15 years.

 She then moved to Taylorville and lived at Siegrist Group Home for many years. While living in Taylorville, she worked at Christian County Mental Health for 33 years.

 Her infectious laugh and love for her friends and family will long be treasured.

 Visitation: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

 Funeral Service: 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield. Burial will follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Loami.

 Memorial contributions may be made to Christian County Mental Health Association.
