Teena L. Knollenberg, 74, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026, at her home. She was born on December 10, 1951, in Springfield, the daughter of Charles E. and Nancy J. (Fay) Fank and they preceded her in death.

She is also preceded in death by her son, Michael Ferguson; sister, Rose Sherwood; two brothers, Charles Fank, Jr. and John Fank; niece, Kayla Dillon; and nephew, Thomas Sherwood.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle R. (Philip) Marcy of Springfield; son, David S. Fank of Springfield; siblings, Richard (Sue) Fank of Riverton, Cathy (Ray) Delong of Arkansas, Carol (Bill) Lacey of Mt. Zion, Marvin (Ann) Fank of Illiopolis, and Patty Gemoules of Springfield; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, whom she adored and loved dearly.

Throughout her life, Teena was known for her unwavering work ethic and selfless devotion to her family. She retired after 20 years as the department manager at Walmart, owned and operated her own cleaning company, and also spent time bartending at Wayne's Red Coach. No matter the job, she worked tirelessly to provide for and support her children, always putting their needs before her own. Teena shared a special bond with her siblings and treasured every opportunity to spend time together. In her quieter moments, she loved relaxing with her favorite soap operas, especially NCIS, never missing an episode featuring one of her favorite actors, Mark Harmon.

Above all, Teena had a kind and generous heart. She found joy in making sure those around her were happy, comfortable, and cared for, and she will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and the love she freely gave to her family and friends.

Cremation has been accorded by Staab Funeral Home - Springfield.
