Theda A. Kaylor, 75, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at her home. She was born November 17, 1947, in Springfield, the daughter of John R., Jr. and M. Eileen (Sutter) Dexheimer. She married Richard Kaylor on February 3, 1996 and he survives.

Also surviving are her son, Steven (Leslie) Termine; two stepsons, Bryan (Cathy) Kaylor and Jamie (Heather) Kaylor; stepdaughter, Jordanna Willman; seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Matthew and Brooklyn Termine, Riley and Greyson Kaylor, Lauren and Stephanie Weber, and Aria Willman; special person, Becky Termine; three brothers, Jerry Dexheimer, John (Carolyn) Dexheimer, and Mark (Cher) Dexheimer; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Kristi Ann Termine Royer.

Theda was a resident of Springfield most of her life and graduated from Lanphier High School in 1965. She worked as a receptionist at Springfield Clinic, retiring in 2012.

Visitation: 4 – 7 pm, Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Service:  10 am, Friday, May 26, 2023 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Pastor Stan Summers officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Protective League.
