Thelma R. Dozier, 85 of Springfield, passed away at 5:00 pm, Friday, April 10, 2026, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born June 3, 1940, in Columbia, KY, the daughter of George H. and Helen M. (Edwards) Dudley. Thelma married Bernard Dozier on February 10, 1990, and he survives.

 Also surviving are her daughter, Billie (Jim) Langfelder; three grandchildren, Justin (Lindsay) Langfelder, Ryan Langfelder, Lauren Langfelder and two great grandchildren, Lylah and Leo Langfelder of Springfield; son, Randy Buckman of Ashland, and stepson, Jason Dozier of Chatham.

 Thelma was preceded in death by her parents and stepson, Joe Dozier.

 Visitation: 9 am – 10:30 am, Friday, April 17, 2026, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

 Funeral Service: 10:30 am, Friday, April 17, 2026, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Reverend Charles Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Morrisonville Cemetery in Morrisonville, IL.

 Memorial Contributions may be made to Little Flower Catholic School.
