Thomas Ronald Rollinger, 78, of Champaign, passed away at 11:51 pm, Friday, October 31, 2025, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born July 22, 1947, in Springfield, IL, the son of Ronald W. and Marie (Kramp) Rollinger.

 He is survived by a daughter, Gina (Rick) Repa of Schaumburg; son, John (Lauren) Rollinger of Mundelein; sister, Mary Kay & Clyde Ethridge of Springfield, IL, five grandchildren, Finn, Lucy, John James and Maeve Rollinger, and William Repa, and a niece Tiffany Ethridge Galloway) and several cousins

 Thomas was a member of St. Matthew’s Church in Champaign.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Marie and son, David.

 Thomas enjoyed fishing, billiards, gardening, traveling and taking road trips. He worked as a computer technician and later was a landscape architect and master gardener.

 Thomas graduated from both Little Flower School and Sacred Heart-Griffin High School of Springfield. Also, he went on to study at Parkland College and Devry University in Chicago.

 A memorial gathering will be held from 10:00 am until time of mass at 11:00 am, Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Church of the Little Flower with Reverend Al Kemme officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

 Memorial contributions may be made to Little Flower Church.
