Timothy A. Fickas, 58 of Springfield, passed away July 24, 2025, at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL. He was born April 29, 1967, in Springfield, the son of Joseph and Winifred (Conway) Fickas, Jr, and they preceded him in death. He married Jodi Parisotto September 28, 1996.

He is survived by his wife, Jodi; son, Alex Fickas of Springfield; three brothers, Joseph (Cindy) Fickas III of Springfield, Carl (Christina) Fickas of Poplar Bluff, MO and Steve Fickas of Sherman and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 


Tim was a member of Iron Workers Union Local #46 since 1985. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He was a graduate of Williamsville High School. His favorite past time was gambling.


The family will host a Celebration of Life from 3 – 7 pm, Friday, August 1, 2025. at Boondocks. In honor of Tim’s love for the Cubs and Bears, please wear your favorite sports team apparel “even if you are a Cardinal’s fan”.
