Wilma I. Beatty, 93, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. She was born on August 15, 1931, in Waverly, IL, daughter of William and Edith Marie (Clark) Ladage. She married David E. Beatty on September 13, 1950, and he preceded her in death on March 2, 2018.

She is also preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Sheryl Beatty Krupps Geisler; and brothers, Russell Ladage and Julius Ladage.

She is survived by her sons, Bill (Debbie) Beatty of Springfield and Kevin (Mardana) Beatty of Springfield; ten grandchildren: Philip (Erin) Krupps, Seth Geisler, Katie Geisler; Kevin Beatty Jr., Adam Beatty, Mark (Shelbi) Beatty, Jonathan Beatty; Aaron (Heather) Beatty, Jason (Danielle) Beatty, Bryan (Ashley) Beatty, and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Wilma was the owner and operator of Beatty Televisual and Beatty Real Estate. She enjoyed attending the Illinois Springfield Symphony. Wilma was a faithful member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church.

Visitation: 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm, Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church.

Funeral Service: 5:30 pm, Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church with Pastor Joel Springer officiating.

A private family burial will take place at Waverly East Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Symphony Guild.
