Agnes Scheifinger 80, of Springfield, died at 7:35 pm, Saturday, March 16, 2024 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital. She was born July 22, 1943 in Sicily to Tomasso and Antonia LaCorte Lombardo. She married Robert Scheifinger on August 18, 1962 and he preceded her in death on November 23, 2023.

Survivors include two nephews, Joseph Lombardo of Southampton, NY and Matthew Lombardo of Spring, TX; great nephew Marc Lombardo of New York, NY and many nieces and nephews in Itay.l

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and her two siblings.

Agnes was co-owner of Joe’s Italian Pizza for over twenty years.

She enjoyed sewing, embroidery and cooking.

Visitation: 8:30 am – 9:30 am, Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Mass: 10 am, Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Blessed Sacrament Church, with Reverend Jeff Grant officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League and The Forever Feline Ranch.
