Alex Doom, a heartwarmingly spirited and jovial soul, left this world far too soon on December 27, 2024, at the young age of 12. Born in Springfield, IL, on June 17, 2012, Alex's infectious laugh and boundless energy brought immeasurable joy to all who knew him.

In St. Louis, MO, surrounded by the love of his family, Alex passed away, leaving behind a remarkable example of love and kindness.

He is survived by his parents, Carrie and Grant Bjork; cherished siblings Dexter, Cambree, and Braxton; beloved half-siblings Brenden and Marianna; his adoring grandparents, Carole "Mimi" Doom, Grandma Cherilyn Barber, and Great-Grandma Beverly Gruszczyk; aunts and uncles, Heidi “Titi” (Travis) Harmony, Crystal Barber, Sara (Harry) Waters; several great-aunts and uncles; cousins, Ryland, Harlow, Kaiden, Kierra, Amarri, Zoe, and Zander; his Marshall family and numerous beloved friends.

His light continues to shine, guiding them, even as they mourn their loss alongside him. Alex follows in the footsteps of his “Pa”, Philip Doom, and Great-Grandparents, Jim and Donna Doom, who preceded him in death.

A proud member of the Bee Bee Bullet Nation, Alex attended Williamsville Junior High School, where he was in the 7th grade. An active young man, his days were rich with attending services at Western Oaks Baptist Church and indulging in his passions which included freshwater fishing, hitting homers in baseball, grappling in wrestling, and teaming up with friends in video gaming. He was also an avid STL Cardinals fan and absolutely loved the thrill of going to Busch Stadium.

Family time was precious to Alex, even the playful bickering with his mom, moments that those closest to him will forever hold close. He is described as loving, kind, and friendly by all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him.

Alex's spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of those left behind as they remember his unwavering friendship, care, and the joy he bestowed upon them simply by being himself. Alex Doom, a young but mighty force of kindness, has left an indelible mark on this world.
