Barbara J. Milburn 66, of Springfield, died at 1:37 pm, Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born July 21, 1957 in Springfield, to John W. and Dorothy J. Barlow Milburn.

Survivors include three sisters, Diana Langley, Brenda Burris and Judy Claussen all of Springfield; two brothers, Mike (Tammie) Milburn of Dawson and Bill (Sharon) Milburn of Springfield; brother-in-law, Kevin Schuh of Springfield; seven nieces and nephews, Kenzi & Kace Schuh, Kelsi Beatty, Adam Claussen, T.J. and Justin Langley and Mike Milburn; two uncles and several cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Carolyn Schuh and two brothers-in-law, Gale Langley and Ray Burris.

Barb loved her cat, Tony. She enjoyed being with her friends and family and dirt track racing.

She retired from Franklin Life Insurance Company after twenty years of service. She then worked for Springfield Service Corporation after ten years of service and then worked for Vern’s Automotive.

Visitation: 10 am – 12 pm Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Service: 12 pm, Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Pastor Clint Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the VFW on Stockyard Road following the graveside service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Almost Home Rescue.
