Bonnie A. Davis, 82, of Springfield, IL, died on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Morris Hospital in Morris, IL.  She was born June 11, 1939 in Montgomery County, IL to George W. and Lorene Sanders Adams.  She married Paul D. “Danny” Davis and he preceded her in death on June 15, 1999.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Leroy Adams; sister-in-law, Dorothy Lee Adams; sister, Louise Simmons; infant brother, Billy; and three nephews.

Survivors include her daughter, Ronda S. (John) Gluck of Casa Grande, AZ; two grandchildren, Michael Parson of Sandwich, IL and Stacy Jo Carty of Yorkville, IL; five great-grandchildren; Ashley, Daniel, Dakota, Cole and Kendel; two sisters, Georgia (Davd) Williams of Butler, IL and Barbara Jean Flitz of Litchfield, IL; three brothers, George David (Sally) Adams of Hillsboro, IL, Robert (Cathy) Adams of Butler, IL and John Adams of Florida;  brother-in-law, Don Simmons; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was a member of Roanoke Southern Baptist Church in Springfield and worked for the Illinois Department of Revenue for 31 years.

Graveside Service: 10:30 am, Friday, June 17, 2022 at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
