Carolyn R. Trask 91, of Springfield, died at 3:35 am, Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. She was born October 26, 1932 in Springfield, to Albert G. and Julia F. Ushman Bitschenauer. She married Ralph Trask in 1986 and he preceded her in death in 1999.

Survivors include three sons, Robert LaBonte of New Berlin, David LaBonte of Springfield and Dan (Jan) LaBonte of Osage Beach, MO; three grandchildren, Nicole Quarles, Jason LaBonte and Chris LaBonte and one great grandchild, Jackson Daniel LaBonte.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one grandchild, Daniel James LaBonte and an infant brother.

Carolyn worked for the school district for more than twenty years as an Administrative Assistant for special needs.

She was a member of the Orchids Society. She loved playing Bridge and spending time with her family and friends. She was a very social person.

No services are planned at this time. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
