Earl L. Rowden, Sr. 81 of Springfield, died at 3:10 pm, Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. He was born July 31, 1942 in Springfield, to Raymond Rowden and Flora Ova Gipson. He married Margie Carol Graham on July 4, 1964 and she preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Lee (Beth) Rowden and Scott (Vicki) Rowden; five grandchildren, Morgan Rowden (Joseh) Moorman, Cady (Fiancé Reid Huffman) Rowden, Logan Rowden, Colton Rowden and Brayden Rowden; two sisters, Sue Neuber and Shirely Meece; one brother, Raymond Rowden and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother, James Rowden.
Earl was of the Christian Faith. He enjoyed attending all the grandchildren’s activities.
Services will be held at a later date.
