Gary L. Taylor 75, of Springfield, died at 5:30 pm, Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Villa East Health Care in Sherman. He was born December 2, 1950, in Springfield, to Carroll and Elsie Hribal Taylor. He married Sue Cannon on March 31, 1978, and she survives.

 Also surviving are two sons, Joshua (Jena) Taylor of Eagle River, AK and Jacob (Adrienne) Taylor of Petersburg and his three children, Gracie, Jackson and Travis.

 He was preceded in death by his parents.

 Gary was a jack of all trades and master of most of them. His greatest enjoyment and most important thing to him was his family.

 He was a member of Local #137 Plumbers and Pipefitters and retired from Air Masters Commercial Heating and Cooling.

 Visitation: 10:00 – 11:00 am Monday, March 23, 2026, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

 Funeral Service: 11:00 am, Monday, March 23, 2026, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with David Comstock officiating. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.

 Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.

 The family requests those attending, wear jeans, casual shirts and boots, if you have them.
