Gregory David Fields, 55, of Springfield, died at 3:27 pm, Monday, April 10, 2023 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 7, 1967 in Albuquerque, NM, the son of Gary and Julie (Jorgensen) Fields. He married Carla “Kim” Richards on October 17, 1992.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kim; two children, Patrick (Michelle) Maher of Auburn and Brendon Larimore of Springfield; one grandson, Johnathan Patrick Maher for whom Greg was over the moon; mother, Julie Fields of Morton; sister, Lori (Aaron) Naas of Morton and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Greg attended Auburn Christian Church. He enjoyed scuba diving and was well known for being able to fix anything. He was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local #137.
He worked for Airmasters for over 20 years.

The family will host an open house Celebration of Life from 12:00 – 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Auburn Christian Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
