Hazel Conner Trumble, 72 of Springfield, died at 1:45 pm, Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born December 10, 1949 in Evanston, to John and Helene (Allison) Conner. She married Ernest Trumble on May 31, 1975 and he preceded her in death on October 20, 2012.

Survivors include four daughters, Patricia “Trysh” (Jimmy) Bates of Springfield, Catherine Trumble of Lincoln, Melissa Obenshain of Washington and Allison Brackens of Springfield; one sone, David Obenshain; two granddaughters, Kayleigh and Briannah Lewis of Springfied and also an additional six grandchildren; one great grandchild and one brother Doug Conner of Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Hazel worked as a security guard in Florida and was later a homemaker.

She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, Sudoku, crocheting, knitting, baking and watching Dr. Who.

Per Hazel’s wishes cremation rites are being accorded.

Memorial contributions may be made to any organization that supports Breast Cancer Awareness.
