Janet “Jan” E. Santarelli, 83, of Riverton, passed away at 2:32 pm, Friday, April 25, 2025, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital. She was born September 21, 1941 in Springfield, the daughter of Glenn O. and Margaret (Maloney) Manley. She married Armond F. Santarelli on February 6, 1960.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Armond; three daughters, Barbara (Charles) Hunt of Chatham, Debra (Andrew) Martin and Teresa (Scott) Milburn, both of Springfield; three grandchildren, Kelsey (Justin) Buchanan, Rachel (Aaron) Bledsaw and Lexi Hunt (Corey Robertson); three great grandchildren, Carson and Averie Buchanan and Kayliana Bledsaw and two sisters, Marianne Schienle of Springfield and Annie Harting of Houston, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mickey Bell.

Jan enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading, Fibre Friends Craft Club and spending time with her family.

She retired as a medical secretary.

No services will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Lincoln Memorial Gardens.
