Jennie Marie Champion, 61, of Springfield, passed away on October 31, 2022 at her residence.

Jennie was born on August 31, 1961, in Springfield, the daughter of Henry and Donna Hock.

Jennie was a 1979 graduate of Southeast High School. She worked for the State of Illinois and retired in 2018. Through the years, she enjoyed watching her children race bikes, shopping, spending time on the boat, and relaxing at the beach. Jennie was always up for a good time and kept everyone laughing. She loved spending time with her grand pups Riley and Bentley.

She was predeceased by her father, Henry Hock.

She is survived by her two children, Josh (Sally Antonacci) Champion and Gina (Justin Armstead) Champion, both of Springfield, and their father, Ron Champion, also of Springfield; mother,

Donna Hock of Springfield; sisters, Rhonda Halford of Palm Coast, Florida, Debbie Hock (Kenny Sullivan) of Morrisonville, Illinois, and Linda Hock of St. Petersburg, Florida; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Private family services were held.
