Though she experienced many losses in her lifetime, she carried herself with strength and grace, and she remained a source of comfort and love to those around her.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Danny) Murphy of Madisonville, LA, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her great pride and joy. June was a dedicated assembly line worker for 42 years at John W. Hobbs Manufacturing. She was known for her strong work ethic and her ability to help set the pace for how long it should take an assembly worker to complete a specific role. Her commitment to her work reflected the dependable and capable person she was in every part of her life. She took pride in doing things well and was respected for the experience and consistency she brought to her job over so many years.
Outside of work, June enjoyed a variety of pastimes that reflected her cheerful and down-to-earth spirit. She loved thrifting and finding good deals, and she took pleasure in putting puzzles together. Fishing was another favorite activity, whether she was spending time at Southwind Park in Springfield or going on fishing trips to Southern Illinois. In her younger years, she especially cherished the times she spent dancing with her husband, memories that remained dear to her throughout her life.
June will be remembered as a woman who cared deeply for her family and who met life with resilience and warmth. She had a practical way about her, a kind heart, and a lively spirit that made her memorable to all who knew her.
