Larry W. Dalby, 72 of Riverton, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023, at his home. He was born February 27, 1951 in Springfield, to Oren C. and Ardella I. Clouser Dalby.

Survivors include his companion, Kathy J. Smith of Riverton; one daughter, Lisa (Bobby Smith) Dalby-Micko of Waverly; one son, Larry A. (Kelly) Dalby of Pawnee; three grandchildren, Reagan Micko and Kelsey and Braydin Dalby; one brother, Oren Dalby of Springfield; treasured friend, David (Jill) Marr; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry was a member of BYO Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved boating and shooting pool.

He was a proud fire fighter for twenty-five years for the Springfield Fire Department and was owner and operator of Dalby Metal Polishing.

Visitation and Funeral Service: 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield. The funeral service will begin at 7:00 PM, with Pastor Calvin Miller officiating. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral service.

Prayer Service: 10:00 AM, Friday, October 20, 2023 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with a procession to Oak Ridge Cemetery for burial.
