LeAnn Carver 70, of Springfield died at 5:14 pm, Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at her home. She was born November 12, 1953 in Springfield, to Clifton L. and Alice M. (Sherrock) Franklin. She married Donald Carver on January 15, 2000 and he survives.

Also surviving are her children; Brandon Colvin of Branham, TX, Rachel (Dustin) Britz of Auburn, Missy Campbell of Rockbridge, IL, Donald Jr. (Kathy) Carver of Springfield, Douglas (Angela) Carver of Springfield, Daniel Carver of Chester, IL and Dustin (Jamie) Carver of Springfield; daughter-in-law, Mandi Carver of Cantrall; thirty-four grandchildren and great grandchildren; her mother, Alice Franklin of Williamsville; two sisters, Alice Rebeck of Springfield and Tammie Brennan (Ed Stuemke) of Williamsville; three aunts, Grace Sherrock of Williamsville, Marion Cline of Williamsville and Charlott Camille of Sherman; one uncle, Gene Sherrock of Williamsville and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death, by her father, Clifton L. Franklin and one granddaughter, Sharodon Carver.

LeAnn retired after 14 years of service from Oak Hill Cemetery, prior to that she was a full time homemaker.

She enjoyed watching cooking and baking shows, taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with her family.

No services are planned per LeAnn’s wishes.

Memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association or the Riverton Fire Department and EMS.
