Lori Lynn Minder, 65, of Springfield, IL, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born June 3, 1959, in Springfield, IL, the daughter Everett “Loren” and Norma Jean (Sturm) Crowe. She married Stephen “Steve” Minder on September 2, 1978.

Survivors include her husband, Steve; son, Matthew (Allyson) Minder of Mechanicsburg; granddaughter, Collins Grace Minder; brothers, Loren Lee (Deborah) Crowe of Williamsville and Mark Steven (Nancy) Crowe of Springfield; aunt, Marilyn Sturm; nieces, Mindy, Michelle, and Melissa; nephews, Mark Jr. and Tim (Brandy); and five cousins: Paul and Roger Hayden and Larry, Bill and Rick Sturm.

Preceding her in death are her parents and aunt, Shirley Hayden.

Lori was a devoted individual who attended Hope Church. She graduated from Williamsville High School in 1977. She loved her colleagues and customers at Williamsville State Bank where she worked for over 15 years. Lori enjoyed whale watching, especially when she travelled to Maui, Hawaii. Lori will be deeply missed.

The family will host a memorial gathering from 10:00 am until time of the memorial service at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Hope Church with Pastor Brian Mills officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
