Mary Ann Laub 81, of Springfield, died at 1:30 pm, Monday, February 5, 2024, at her home. She was born June 11, 1942, in Decatur, to Leo and Dorothy Jane (Nichols) Murphy and they preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Laura (Charles) Trader and Debbie Jones both of Springfield and Amy (Sami) Agirbas of New Berlin; two sons, David (Jill) Laub and Steven Laub both of Springfield; 23 grandchildren, Zach (Annie) Miller, Shane (Andrea) Miller, Kevin (Jess) Trader, Josh (Brittney) Trader, Michael (Ashley) Trader, Jeremy (Jenny) Filler, Emily (Felicia) Filler-Valtierra, Sarah Filler, Adam Jones, Logan Laub, Dylan Laub, Kevin White, Karilyn White, Hiliary (Gabriel) Gutierrez, Luke (Rachell) Laub, Evan (Kaitlin) Laub, Steven Laub, Diana Laub, Liam Laub, Sydney McCabe, Jacob McCabe, Sophia Agirbas and Jeyda Agirbas; 22 great-grandchildren; one sister, Janet (John) Walters of Forsyth; two brothers, Marty (Diana) Murphy of San Pedro, CA and Mike (Linda) Murphy of Springfield; several nieces and nephews and a few cousins.

Mary Ann was a member of Church of the Little Flower. She was a homemaker and later started her own cleaning business with her lifelong friend.

She loved thrifting, cooking, baking, woodcarving, music, line dancing, decorating, but most of all spending time with her family who were the most important to her.

Private family services are being held.

Memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Little Flower or to Tuition Assistance for Little Flower School.
