Mary Frances McKibben, 69, of Springfield, died at 3:48 am, Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born May 20, 1954 in Springfield, to Edward J. and Helen Keenan Selinger. She married Michael McKibben on June 8, 1984 and he survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Jaclyn (Aaron) Jones of Smithfield, VA; grandchildren, Charlotte June Jones and Jase Jones; two brothers, Jim (Margaret) Selinger of Cobden and Tom (Kari) Selinger of Springfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bob and Larry Selinger.

Mary was a graduate of Ursuline Academy. She was a member of St. Aloysius Church. She worked for the State of Illinois in the SERS Department and for various departments of the City of Springfield.

Visitation: 4 – 7 pm, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at St. Aloysius Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
